18th century elephant Ivory Netsuke depicting Fukura-Suzume, the lucky sparrow. Un-signed, very similar to carvings attributed to the carver Masanao. Kyoto school.

Good Condition with typical hairlines and wear from age and use. Rough area on left center of tail, visible in front view. Lovely mellow patina. |
