 Beautiful carving of an African woman with elongated forehead, closed eyes, long eyelashes, and well rendered features. Nicely carved from dark ebony hardwood with outer bark still attached forming a headdress and the shoulders of the figure. Wonderful color and polish, with faint red-brown grain visible in the wood.
