Three folk art woodcarvings of musicians. Two drummers and one flute player. |

Flute
player is African, probably from Kenya. Elongated body, simplified
features, and scaled texture over must of the body. Good condition with minor wear from age. dimensions: approx 3" wide x 4" deep x 15" high

Drummer #1 is from Kenya, from the Besmo people. Elongated body, simplified features, large head, and small hands and feet. Figure is playing a small drum gripped between the thighs.

Fair condition, missing one arm. Some cracking along right side of head. dimensions: approx 3" wide x 4" deep x 12" high |
Drummer #2 is rendered more realistically than the other two figures. The style is influenced by African carving, but he is probably Haitian in origin. Figure is playing a tall drum in a standing position.
