Rough Painted Mask

Probably Mexican or Central American.  Painted mask on soft wood with rough grain. Fearsome expression with bulging eyes, heavy brows, black mustache and bloody lips.  Inset fangs broken off in roof of mouth.  Hole drilled in forehead, probably for display.  Roughly made and painted, but with a certain naive charm. 

One crack in chin area. Inset teeth are broken. Needs cleaning.
