 Snake Fetish Woodcarving

Collected circa 1970

Unusual anthropomorphic woodcarving with head dangling between the legs.  Head is snake-like, with human features.  Section of body below head is scaled.  Fine grained hardwood with blonde inclusions, probably bocote or lignum vitae. Origin unknown, probably Africa or Indonesia.

Very Good Condition with minor wear from age and use.
