This tin is octagonal, and is  illustrated with 3 Chinese genre scenes. Lid portrays a family with parasol standing on a platform by the edge of the water. Long sides portray a family relaxing in a small boat with a temple in the background.  Short sides portray a large palace-like structure in the background with 3 little islands in the foreground.  Edges of lid, and 4 small sides are decorated with gold metallic geometric designs.  Designed by Daher of Long Island, New York, and manufactured in England.
