This tin is a lovely design, both in its form and the design of the artwork.  The cover features a delightful portrait of 3 parakeets with a leaf design around the edge.  The tin is encircled by an interlocking,  repeating design of 4 parakeets perched on leafy twigs.  Bottom has British coat of arms and reads; "By appointment of her majesty the queen biscuit manufacturers."  Peek, Frean, and Company Lyt, London SE 16, England.
