This two panel self portrait is a wonderful example of Elizabeth's use of animal forms to represent human character and emotion, and of her interest in exploring her sexuality through her work. The piece is humorous and at the same time mysterious and erotic.  In panel #1 the bear stands alone in the forest.  In panel two, the bear is revealed to be only a skin, and the woman within is exposed.
