Ken Foster has spent the last three decades creating hand painted stoneware and porcelain in a wide range of forms and styles.
His utilitarian ceramics are inspired by his desire to create works of art that are both beautiful and
functional.

After 30 years creating functional wares, Ken's desire to explore new ideas and techniques led him to the
University of California at Fresno, where he received his BFA degree in 2005.
Ken's new work is bold in form and ambitious in scale, with some pieces as large
as 7' tall. In addition to creating his own work, Foster is now teaching
ceramics at Fresno City College.
