Vintage Navajo Harvey Era  silver and Turquoise bracelet

 Navajo turquoise bracelet. Marked "STERLING" for silver content, & hallmarked. 

Larger central blue-green turquoise stone, oval in shape, It is plain bezel set, & trimmed with applied silver beading.  The stone is mounted on a scalloped, 4 split band, & flanked by two thunderbird medallions.  Each of these has a small turquoise set in the center.  There are small fluted bump-outs on each side of the thunderbirds, and a deeply stamped band.

 

DIMENSIONS - 5 1/4 inches along the inside, with a 1 inch opening.  The face measures approx 7/8 inch tall -  7 to 7.5 inch wrist. center stone approx 1/2" wide by 3/4" tall.  Some flexibility.

WEIGHT:  approx 20 GRAMS

 

 

 

CONDITION:

  Very good, typical fine surface wear from age and use.   one of the small turquoise stones has a crack, but is firmly set and noticeable only upon close inspection.
