Chrysocolla and Silver Bola Tie

Chrysocolla and silver Bola Tie with very large single stone and woven cord.  This piece is from the Skipper Kent Collection, worn by Skipper on his travels in Mexico and the American Southwest.  There is a hairline crack in the stone between the lower tines of the setting, visible in photo. The stone is solid despite the crack. It is hard to tell if the hairline was part of the stone when the bolo was made, or occurred later.  There are a couple of small edge hairlines as well, that appear to be repairs. Stamped on back TAXCO Mexico 925. Purchased in Taxco in 1955.
