Christian Guenther Firefall Christian's Firefall vessels celebrate the element of fire, and are inspired by the Firefall ceremonies performed in Yosemite National Park in the early 20th century. Each piece is hand blown and formed in deep shades of yellow, orange, and violet, with color that seems to move through the interior of the piece as the viewer moves around it. The roiling patterns on the surface of each piece are created by applying strands of dough-like red hot glass to the core of the blown vessel. |
